Scott Hardie: “It sucked.”

To promote their production of a television series based on Wet Hot American Summer, Netflix edited together this documentary from VHS recordings made backstage during the original's production. They shouldn't have bothered: Nearly all of it consists of the cast lazily goofing off and trying weakly to get each other to cheer up between takes, combined with a lot of standing around looking at the set and waiting for something to happen. If you thought it would be fun to hang out on a movie set with comedic minds like Amy Poehler or Paul Rudd or Janeane Garofalo, try one where they're not tired and miserable.
