Samir Mehta: “It ruled.”
I love this movie. I'm partial to any drama that seriously addresses the U.S. and Mexican Drug War, and this does it. Couple that with a tremendous performance by Emily Blunt (2015 is the year of the awesome female action lead, btw) and it's tremendous. I admit that I like the movie for its bleak outlook on this very serious issue. Do not expect to walk away happy.
