Scott Hardie: “It ruled.”
To steal a line from The A-Team, Luc Besson specializes in the ridiculous. If you can't suspend disbelief going into one of his ludicrously over-the-top sci-fi/action movies, then don't bother seeing it. This one is a delight, a comedy where the casting of Guy Pearce as a gruff, Rambo-like action hero qualifies as the most plausible element. The plot is familiar, but the movie is loads of silly fun.
