Scott Hardie: “It ruled.”
Although not as satisfying as it could be (it feels like at least half an hour has been trimmed), this Alien spin-off is a masterpiece of visual richness and squishy sound effects. It asks complex questions about our relationship with God and parents.

Evie Totty: “It ruled.”
Although it didn't scare the pants off me like Alien(s) did and I felt it was predictable, it was still fun to watch. I really wish I'd seen it in 3D. Looking forward to the sequel.
Fassbender is quickly becoming one of my favorite actors and I haven't even seen Shame or ... that other one where he plays Carl Jung.

Erik Bates: “It was ok.”
Definitely better than the rest of the movies in the franchise. Overall, I'd give it a very solid "Meh." I understand the huge following with this franchise. I'm just not on-board with it.
