Evie Totty: “It sucked.”
You know - I knew it was going to be bad but I (kind of) watched it anyway.
Ryan Reynolds is again playing himself. He gets away with it because that character is pretty funny. So - we'll let that go.
Dwayne Johnson is playing The Rock. Which is getting stale for me. It'll be interesting to see how Black Adam turns out.
And Gal Gadot... well, she's just not that good. Easy enough to hide in Wonder Woman and Justice League, but it started to show in WW1984 and is glaring in this.
And the storyline - I'm rolling my eyes. Perhaps you've seen it and rolled yours with me. And if you haven't - save yourself. Do something more entertaining like, watch paint dry.

Scott Hardie: I've heard from several people recently who have criticized Gadot's range, including professional critics. Apparently she's perfectly well cast as Wonder Woman, but not really pulling off other roles. Time will tell if this holds true, as she has a lot of projects in the pipeline. I can't judge; I haven't seen her in any non-superhero role other than Date Night and I barely remember the existence of that film let alone her tiny part.
As for why Gadot is criticized for lack of range while Reynolds and Johnson have gotten away with it for years now, I think I know the answer. − December 22, 2021 more by Scott

Erik Bates: “It was ok.”
For what it is, it's a good movie. I enjoy Ryan Reynolds's humor, so unlike Evie, I haven't grown tired of him just yet.

Matthew Preston: “It was ok.”
I really liked all three of the main characters, and some of the supporting cast was decent, but it wasn't a movie to write home about (or review in detail on your friend's website). This is one of those put on in the background type flicks, when you're looking for a quiet evening at home (or maybe Netflix and Chill *wink*wink - is that still a thing?).
