The Monster Squad
1987
Dracula, the Wolfman, Frankenstein, the Mummy and Gill Man descend on a tiny town in search of a diabolically powerful amulet. But only 12-year-old Sean and his gang of monster-obsessed misfits can save the day in this overlooked 1987 horror comedy.

Scott Hardie: “It was ok.”

Kelly played this for me to share some childhood nostalgia, as she saw it dozens of times growing up. I can see why it's a cult favorite with our generation, as it has some pleasant humor and grown-up ideas mixed in with the tired kiddie-adventure material and 80s stereotypes. I liked it more than I expected.
