Evie Totty: “It was ok.”
Leaning more towards the 'sucked' column but in my own rating system, a 1/3 is an 'I want my money back' (though I probably should have a 4 'star' system since very few of those get a 1/3...)
Anyway. This is a story of supposed love at first sight. The female character is from a Jamaican family who is about to be deported in the next 24 hours. The pair meet during this time. She's desperately trying to find a way to stop her family from being kicked out of the country.
Thing is - she fails! I was so pissed! Was this something that would happen in real life? Absolutely. But I don't want real-life when it comes to this stuff lol! All our hearts were broken.
She came back to the country sometime later (I forget how many years - let's say five) and she finds him (almost by accident - serendipity at work). Thing is, in hindsight, it was too little too late...
Not really worth seeing unless you just want to watch a love story.This review contains spoilers. Reveal it.
