Evie Totty: “It ruled.”
This was so much better than the Origins movie. Though the Origins was fine (IMO) until they got to 3 Mile Island (or whatever the hell it was).
There was a gratuitous wife-beater scene for the ladies as well.
When the preview for DOFP came into the credits it was abundantly clear this whole movie was a setup for it. Some of the story was 'eh' but I did love the funeral sequence. Can't really say scene since it took up a rather large chunk of time.
I was VERY unhappy with the villain. I felt betrayed on a personal level and perhaps that contributed to why I like it so much. I was angry. I am angry. I am even angry at the writers for it. I find it hard to fathom this man turning on Logan in such a way. Sure, they kept talking about how he was obsessed with Logan blah blah blah trying to explain the madness that had come over him but come ON. I know human beings can tend to suck however he owed Logan his LIFE. And to attempt to kill Logan in return... I obviously could to on and on.
Course, I'm a sucker for parkour-ing (sic?) and Wolvie does a fair amt of it during that part. I'm giving it an 'It ruled' because I actually want to see it again. I am afraid to though because I might be so mad I could change it to 'It sucked' based on the previous paragraph...This review contains spoilers. Reveal it.

Erik Bates: “It was ok.”
As X-men franchise movies go, this one wasn't the best. Still a good movie, no doubt about that. I appreciate the references to the previous films in the franchise, but overall, this just felt like an elaborate entre'acte -- keeping us entertained until Days of Future Past is finally released.
