In this installment of the Pixar animated franchise, toy cowboy Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks), his astronaut pal, Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), and their friends cope with their owner's departure for college -- and their new home in a day-care center.

Scott Hardie: “It was ok.”

This unnecessary, contractually mandated sequel is a sufficiently cheerful but fairly standard adventure for its first two acts, then finally gets around to delivering Pixar's signature emotional wallop towards the end and gains overdue depth.

Scott Hardie: Everybody else seems to have loved it as much as the other Toy Story movies. I don't know, maybe if I hadn't been exposed to universally high reviews I would have expected less. The second movie was the clear high point in the series to me. − July 8, 2010 • more by Scott
