Scott Hardie: “It was ok.”

This unnecessary, contractually mandated sequel is a sufficiently cheerful but fairly standard adventure for its first two acts, then finally gets around to delivering Pixar's signature emotional wallop towards the end and gains overdue depth.

Scott Hardie: Everybody else seems to have loved it as much as the other Toy Story movies. I don't know, maybe if I hadn't been exposed to universally high reviews I would have expected less. The second movie was the clear high point in the series to me. − July 8, 2010 • more by Scott
