What is your favorite month? What is your favorite season? When is your birthday?

I have long suspected that there's a high correlation between these. It seems like every time that I hear someone tell me what their favorite time of year is, it turns out that their birthday falls right in that same timeframe. I wonder why that is. Is it a happy association created by so many birthday celebrations over the years? Is it that in our early childhood, we learned that particular time of year on the calendar first, and thus it became imprinted as a favorite? Or is it some subconscious narcissism that makes us think that "our" time of year is the best? I remain curious, and wonder for what percentage of people the correlation exists. Have you ever noticed the same?

Of course, I fit my own theory: May, spring, and May 25 here.

I fit as well. June, summer, and July 15. Brenda blew the theory all to hell with October, autumn, and June 23.

Heh, "autumn" is my preferred term, because "fall" has so many other meanings. The fact that it's six letters like the other season names makes for nice symmetry.
