If Anybody likes to play football they ought to go to yahoo or another site and play fantasy football. It's a fun thing to sign up for free. You can go and do a live online draft. If anybody is interested in joining a fantasy league and wants to join in my league I setup. The League Id is 590582 the pw to get in is 123456. You would have to get in the room in 3 more days to play and the draft starts 7:15 pm

I don't love football, but I do love making online games, and I once briefly toyed with the idea of creating a fantasy football system. Matt convinced me that not only was it a futile endeavor with so many other ones out there already, but the amount of data entry I'd have to do every weekend would crush it. These days I might be able to get some kind of RSS data or something to handle that automatically, but I still think my little spare time would be better put elsewhere. Speaking of which, I need to clarify the new goo tournament rules before the round runs out...

I've been longing to join a Fantasy League but "She Who Must Be Obeyed" absolutely forbids it. She doesn't say it in those exact words but I get it. Oh, I get it loud and clear.

Because of the betting? Aren't there free ones just for fun?

Because of the amount of time I spend on my "hobbies" now. The last thing I need is another distraction, despite how enjoyable it surely would be.

I'm in a league now, but I'm one of those plug and play guys. I don't spend the massive hours required to really know about every player, and compare match-ups and all the noise! :)

And, I am in a league with my own She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed, so that's ok! ;)

Thank you for spending your limited hobby time here with us.

I used to enjoy Hollywood Stock Exchange, which was fantasy football for movie fans, but it lost my interest when they redesigned the site and the new layout got on my nerves. It's still a fun game, though.
