The Bulgarian government made an announcement that was a giant step in women's rights. Women in the military are now allowed to serve aboard submarines. Their entire submarine fleet consisted of one boat which they promptly retired the same day as the announcement. "But the next one we get you can maybe serve teacakes on," stated the Defence Minister. They also serve who serve baklava, apparently. I made that last part up but the rest is absolulutely true.
