I definitely ate too much Thursday, and shopped too much yesterday, but that's what the weekend is for.
Can anybody help me solve a Thanksgiving mystery? Lately, I've heard "smashed potatoes" a lot more than "mashed potatoes." Google results indicate an actual difference (lumpy vs smooth), but can you actually tell a difference when you make them and/or eat them? I can't. My theory is that they're the same dish in most households, but "smashed" is more fun to say.
