While playing Rock Block recently, Matthew asked if I could be around at a particular time that weekend to play a few concerts with him, in hopes of unlocking some more play rules. I'm always happy to do that, but people rarely ask, I presume because they're busy and I'm busy. But there are times when it really helps to be online at the same time as other players, to focus on this sort of thing. (One achievement in particular is to finish and win a concert in 15 minutes, which just can't be done unless you're both playing at the same time.)

So, I'm going to borrow a concept from college professors and business executives. On Saturday mornings from now on, from 9am to 1pm ET, I'll observe "office hours" where I'll be online and participating in Funeratic and available right away. Of course, you can continue to message me and challenge me to concerts and whatever else throughout the week, and I'll continue to respond when I can. It's just that Saturday mornings will be a time when I'm definitely here and engaged. I'll respond to pretty much anything that people send me during that window, about any section of the site.

Occasionally I'll have other obligations and can't make it, in which case I'll say something in advance. But I fully expect to be here most weeks. I'm looking forward to this already. :-)

Erik, you have already earned an A+. :-)

Also, on the subject of helping people get ahead in the game: I'm open to challenges of any sort, including for trade of specific artists, including for trade of any exclusive artists that I have. It's fun in its own right, and it's the only realistic way to accomplish the "have every artist in your label" achievement, which is how you get one of the best things in the game. I might decline under certain specific conditions, but generally I'll agree to a challenge if you tell me that you're after something specific of mine.

I won't lose on purpose, but I would be happy to play you as many times as necessary for you to win thrice daily for three days! How about this Friday through Sunday?

I'll be on Funeratic for the next four hours at least. I'm not going to say this every week, but it's the first week and I'm excited to try this.

Challenge me to a concert and I'll (probably) accept it.

Start a discussion and I'll join it.

Ask me a question or make a suggestion and I'll answer it.

I was going to say create a goo and I'll approve it, but unfortunately there's still a large backlog and I'm slowly working through that. :-(

Happy Saturday, everybody!

Something has come up and I won't make it to my normal 9-1 hours today, but I should be back online by midday.

I'm moving the office hours to Sunday evenings from 5-9 ET instead. I'm not available on Saturdays consistently enough.

Scott Hardie | September 1, 2019
I'm not going to make it tonight.

I'm not going to make it tonight either, but I might be online briefly at some point.

I'll be unavailable tomorrow.

I'm discontinuing the office hours on Sunday night. There's no need for it at this time, nobody's taking advantage of it because there's no point (although I'm surprised no one used it to get ahead during the last RB tournament), and although I still had the time set aside in my calendar until now, I'm mostly working on non-Funeratic projects during that block of time. I might revisit this in the future if there's interest.
