If you could magically render one household chore unnecessary forevermore, which would you choose?

Laundry - hands down. We generate so much that it's almost a daily chore. "Chore" is the right word for it because there's almost no pleasure in it at all. Mowing the lawn at least has a pleasant look to it afterwards and meal preparation has its own reward most times. But laundry? That fresh from the dryer feel and scent only lasts a second or two and then poof!

Bathroom here, too. I'm a bit of a mysophobe and don't like touching things laden with germs. (I carry out the trash, but Kelly bags it up.) As mentioned elsewhere, we pay for a cheap maid service, and we employ a cheap local lawnmowing service too. That reduces our chores to laundry, dishes, and trash. I'm super lazy and would pay someone to do those too if I could. :-)

If we all hate bathoom cleaning so much, maybe we should buy one of those Japanese super-toilets that clean themselves and play video games and do our taxes and whatever.
