Now that the "Goo World Tour" has concluded and turned out to be fairly popular, are there any other themed rounds you'd like to see? I considered something like "Goo Goes Hollywood," but that has more to do with cleaning out my huge reserve of Cinema & Television goos than any burning need for it in the game. I'm not looking for silly or meaningless suggestions so much as themed rounds that you honestly would like to play.

I will consider a musical category (like moving down the dial on a radio, perhaps?), but I want to say that there's strong potential in a historical goos round. The first ten goos could progress from the ancient world to the early 1900s, then each of the last ten goos could represent a decade in the last century, moving up to present day. That's a damn good idea.

How about goos that were the first in their field?

Or, goos that were outcasts in their genre? Maybe that would make them too infamous.

How about "Color" goos in which each week a celebrity is chosen for their affiliation to a specific color. For example, the "Silver" Goo could have a clue like, "Even a spanish fool couldn't keep the courts from taking Jim Croce's advice," leading to Clayton Moore.

Ooh... More good ideas. :-) Keep 'em coming.

It occurred to me today that I should alternate between themed rounds and normal rounds, with ~15 goos for a normal round and ~20 for a themed round. That depends on me keeping the towers and not devising a different scoring system, though.

Cartoon Themed Goos... like have He-Man as a goo "He's the most powerful man in the universe!"

Jackie: I'm going to do the second World Tour next, just to finish it off (there aren't enough countries to justify a third one). The next themed round after that will probably be your suggestion of a historical round.
