I read a AP wire story yesterday talking about a study that said vowel sounds in names affect how sexy people think a name is. Do you think that a person's name affect his or her personality as well?

Perhaps you jinxed her by naming her Serenity! Just kidding. =)

Give her time. Does she like apples?

Yeah, I don't get the joke either.

She is just like her mother, and that scares me more than a little bit. But she's can be a sweet child too.

Well... Matt does sometimes unwittingly let people take advantage of him, and I'm proudly of Scottish decent. I don't know how good of a swimmer Bob is, though.

Seems over the years I've always had a close friend named Jeff. Different guys, I mean, different Jeffs in different states at different times, but all named Jeff.

I am also surrounded by Dans.

Odd.

Anna Gregoline | August 23, 2004
Not very odd since they're extremely common names.

Are there ever any 'name definitions' that are negative? I mean, whenever you read them they always seem upbeat. For example, do you ever see any like this:

Rich - You are a pretentious jerk. You think the world revolves around you and your greed is insatiable. You are pompous and oblivious to the fact that nobody likes you, and the people that pretend to like you only do it because you are wealthy.
