I don't even dare make the "Go Sox!" joke right now. I hate the "Go Bay!" joke when the Bucs play the Packers in the NFL.

I was shocked to see that the White Sox had gone up 2-0 on the Red Sox. I am also shocked that my Milwaukee Brewers made it .500 this season at 81-81. I am even MORE shocked that the entire NFC North in the NFL has only 3 wins. It is entirely possible that the winner of that division could make it to the playoffs with a record of 7-9. And it's entirely possible they would HOST a wild card team at something like 11-5. I want to see that happen.

I'm definitely rooting for the White Sox on this one. One game away from seeing those Reds take an early end to their season!

I would like to see the Red version repeat, but as long as the dreaded Yanks are knocked out soon, I'll be happy.

I am happy for your team, because I do hate Boston... there was some damn good baseball yesterday though... 18 innings...woo

the biggest advantage the White Sox have right now is rest. The advantage the Yanks could have is momentum.

The umps are brave to stand by to their bad call in game 2. Stupid, but brave. Eddings deserved every jeer he got last night. It was a terrible call.

I liked "Corpse Bride" too, and I'll post a TMR for it soon. But I want to mention that I was bothered by one little touch: During the close-ups of two puppets facing each other, the puppet facing towards the camera would shift its eyes side-to-side while listening to the other puppet speak. This happens a lot in live-action entertainment, and it distracts the hell out of me whenever I see actors doing it, because nobody shifts their eyes side-to-side like that when listening to someone speak. Now there are claymations puppets doing it too? Ugh.

I think the winner is still coming out of the NL this year, sorry Jackie

Well I'd hate to see the NL in a winning position, it not being REAL baseball, but I'm betting that Houston will probably come out of it with a championship

This whole article has the ability to start a discussion similar to the one that nearly caused a TC implode just a week or so over a year ago. I am completely abstaining from this discussion from here on in.

From one Sox fan to another - Congratulations! Revel in the joy, it fades all to quickly.

I'm pulling for the Cubs in 2008 (100 years between championships, that'd be sweet)
