Sorry I screwed up the obsessions page with that tall image. But it is true, I have a new obsession. Gee... I don't know if I actually want to say more about it than that. :) But it is cool. My first such device.

Now I remember why I live in North Dakota

Correction to my earlier post - we have now seen almost to the end of season 2 of QAF (Darrell decided to watch it after all) and it seems only season 1 is really amazing. Perhaps it gets better again later, I don't know. Is it any coincidence that season 1 is the one copied almost directly from the British version? Go »goodbye dialup...
So, I've finally got some form of high speed internet though it's probably the slowest high speed they make (512 k). I like it though. It is so much better than what we had before. Go »Broken bikes...
So, I had 3 broken bikes and no usable one really and I figured it was time to deal with the situation. Problem being I am about as strong as a wet noodle and NOT mechanically inclined. The first two are what they call "BSOs" (Bike shaped objects), cheap crappy bikes that aren't expected to last long. Go »Sewing completed
