Evie Totty: “It ruled.”

F it. It was probably closer to 'It was ok' but dammit. It has Chris Evans in it. That doesn't mean I love all his movies. I couldn't even finish the one he directed (I can't even remember the name of it).

But I did like this movie. And being a person with a high IQ (not as high as hers for sure) I could kind of relate.

Though now, as an adult... I definitely wish my mom had made me go to the 'smart school'. A lot more doors would have been opened for me. I would have had a lot more opportunities available (including scholarships)

So this film had me torn honestly. Evans plays an uncle trying to raise his niece as normally as possible. Unfortunately, he's from a family if geniuses (including his character).

The movie was set in my area but it was clear it wasn't filmed here. I believe it was filmed in Savannah (GA is killing it for films).

Anyway, a nice , feel-good indie. Worth watching
