Evie Totty: “It was ok.”

I really don't have the need to see it again. This is based on a series of books (and from what I understand the fans of it are upset that a short man is playing a tall character) and I believe this was a good opening for a franchise if it makes it that far.
The character I really liked though was the 'bad guy'. Well bad guys. A Russian survivor of the Siberian prison. He chewed off the frostbitten fingers on his left hand to keep gangrene from setting in and 4 fingers on his right hand to keep from having to work the mines. He'll do anything to survive.
He gave the same option to one of his men who'd screwed up. Chew off the fingers on your left hand. Show me you'll do anything to survive...
The other is his right-hand man (for all I know a relative) Charlie. A superb sniper and total bad-ass. Plus he's hot so that doesn't hurt :)This review contains spoilers. Reveal it.
