Stoker
Scott Hardie: “It ruled.”
Surreal, eerie, totally engrossing thriller in the Southern gothic tradition (even if it's set in Connecticut). The plot is fairly simple and unlikely; the movie is all about intense acting and relentless tension and gorgeous photography. The meticulous sound editing sets the mood and deserves an award.
