Once upon a time, maybe around 2000 or 2001, I created awards called L, C, D, and M, representing the first person to solve that many goos in Roman numerals. We gave away numerous Ls and a couple of Cs, but D seemed like a faraway unlikelihood, and M just seemed impossible, like offering a unicorn as a prize. Now Mike has reached that goal, and joined a club of several other outstanding players to pull it off. The game changed, but the players got better too. Congrats, Mike, and everyone else in the club.
