Scott I like Samir's idea with Aka having pending guesses removed by using the cat. If someone has Aka and a another player has Ao will the player's pending guess still be shown as an answer to the Ao player even if the pending guess is totally removed by the aka player.

Yeah, Samir pointed out to me that when you have a pending guess, you're pretty sure it's wrong and you should be able to erase it with Aka without waiting for me to mark it wrong. That's a good point. As Steve Dunn put it years ago, when you submit a guess and it doesn't match, if you're not sure that you're right, you're wrong.

As for Ao, it depends on when you use Ao's power. If you use Ao's power while the guess is still pending, then you might see it. But once the other player uses Aka to delete the pending guess, it's really gone for good, so Ao cannot find it. (In technical terms, the guess is deleted from the website database and thus cannot be retrieved.)
