Whoever gets the Medium card for 8/24 should trade it to Aaron. Yes, that is what they should do.

So do it. Please? :)

Aaron Shurtleff | August 25, 2008
And another thing! Of all the people to get the Led Zeppelin card! ;) There must be a reckoning! :D

I joke, of course! All love to you, Russ!

Aaron Shurtleff | August 26, 2008
Jeez! This topic has rapidly become Aaron's random Rock Block comments!

Scott Hardie, you magnificent bastard! I can't believe you made Jimi Hendrix exclusive!! An R10?!?

Wish I would have gotten to do it first!

Scott Hardie | August 26, 2008
I've thought for a year now about what card I would make my own if I got the chance, and I kept coming back to Jimi. I just listened to his greatest hits earlier tonight. It had to be.

If you ask me, earning a rock block is the hardest achievement by far, not counting the final compound achievement at the end of each list. It's been a while since some new achievements were added; maybe it's time for more.

You killed Jimi, you bastard! Can I have Presley now, please? Pleeeeeeaasseee?

Amy Austin | August 26, 2008
NO, you may NOT... even if I won't ever achieve a rock block of my very own... ;-(

Tony Peters | August 26, 2008
sorry scott as the person who has lost more RB matches than anyone else (4) I'm not so sure that a Rock Block is that hard to win just play me

Aaron Shurtleff | August 26, 2008
I think Cascade increases the chance of a Rock Block immensely, if you have the last play. :) It's not just you, Tony.

Amy Austin | August 26, 2008
Cascade was only one out of four.

Tony Peters | August 26, 2008
exactly so challenge me and you will get a Rock Block

Amy Austin | August 26, 2008
Weren't you the challenger in all cases?

Tony Peters | August 26, 2008
no at least one I was the challenged

Steve West | August 26, 2008
Psychedelia works for both challenger and challengee as a potential Rock Block, I think.

Tony Peters | August 26, 2008
yes it does.......MR West

Aaron Shurtleff | August 27, 2008
Ugh! Not bad enough Amy wins a card from me in our match, but then she gets another card in the Exchange... :(

Amy Austin | August 27, 2008
Hey... sometimes the rain has to bring goodness, dammit...

Scott Hardie | August 28, 2008
Only defenders can earn rock blocks. It's not possible as challenger, with Psychedelia or any other rule, because no numerical bonus allows an already-played card to capture the one played in the final turn. To date, including themed concerts, there has been only one 9-1 victory with Psychedelia (link), and it was won by the defender.

Tony Peters | August 28, 2008
I stand corrected...I'm still the biggest loser and yet I still haven't earned the luck acheivement

Steve West | August 28, 2008
Ah, of course.

Aaron Shurtleff | September 5, 2008
4:00 pm and NO ONE has gotten a card from the Exchange yet?!? Let's get on it, y'all!

Aaron Shurtleff | September 6, 2008
10:45 PM!!! I've checked it 20 times already, hoping it will give up and give me a card!!! No one?

ARGH!!

Aaron Shurtleff | September 6, 2008
11:45!! You guys are KILLING me!!!!

Aaron Shurtleff | September 6, 2008
11:59! I don't even KNOW you people! :(

Aaron Shurtleff | September 6, 2008
*sigh* Nothing for Aaron today in the Exchange... :(

Lori Lancaster | September 6, 2008
[hidden by request]

Aaron Shurtleff | September 7, 2008
Didn't take long for that card to appear in the Exchange! Whoever gets the low card gets my second birthday card! :)

By the way, I don't know if you take requests, but there's a movie called Bait House (or maybe Bait Shack) "starring" Bill Engvall and Billy Ray Cyrus that is a strong early favorite for worst film of 2008... Just saying.

Aaron Shurtleff | July 29, 2010
Two Trixters in the Exchange, and I can't win just one?? :(
