Just chiming in to say "Who moved my cheese" is a great book. Came in very useful awhile back when trying to mentally navigate a big change :). Even bookmarked it online to have it to share with others when they hit the same scary wall of "change".

As far as recommendations, I'll read practically anything, though have now moved to books on tape since reading time limited - but have read/heard several good books lately. What genre's do you like to read?

And congrats on starting the 100th conversation.

The Hobbit & The Lord of the Rings if you haven't read them already. There are so many things in the books that didn't make it to the big screen and the Hobbit is a wonderful insight to Bilbo, Gandalf, dwarves and Gollum :)

I used to devour books like you are when I worked at the library and B Dalton. I miss those days...now its homework and FCAT for my son :).

Flann O'Brien's The Third Policeman is a lot of fun.

Reclaiming History - Vincent Bugliosi's definitive text on the Kennedy (JFK) assassination. This volume is huge, over 1500 pages, but if you've got a few weeks and an interest in the subject, it is well worth the time.
