I just finished watching Cinemania, a documentary about five New Yorkers whose lives are dedicated to watching movies. Apparently they go to movies all day long, seven days a week. One mentioned seeing a thousand movies in a single month, but unless he was just sampling a scene or two for each, my calculations don't show how that's possible.
Anyway, it's worth renting if you worry that you obsess too much about your own interests, or if you want an up-close glimpse of undiagnosed mental illness. Me, I'm gonna stick with my 100-or-so-movies-a-year pace with renewed pride that at least I'm not this bad off. :-|
