Yes! By all accounts she was a tremendously generous and selfless soul. Drunk History was funnier in recounting her relationship with Porter Wagoner than I could be. Maybe the saddest detail that I read about in the wake of her death was a recent statement that she gave to People magazine in which she said that she had put off treating her own medical problems for some time because she was preoccupied taking care of her ailing husband Carl. If true, she gave of her own life to help another person, which is some next-level Giving Tree selflessness. The world will be a worse place without her.
