I'm all for punishing Greenpeace if the law was broken. But why trot out a law that has only been used twice, the last time in 1890? Valid or not, Greenpeace will contest any sentence under that law as unusual punishment. And yes, the right to free speech is falsely cited way too often as legal justification - you'd think people would get it by now that it's not ironclad.

Ha! PETA...I live a few blocks from their headquarters. Their presence in the community is not appreciated. One of the local radio stations used to hold an annual "PETA Fishing Tournament" literally right outside the PETA building since it sits on the water. Always entertaining.
