Scott, thanks again for a thoroughly enjoyable evening at Villa Ridge! It was a great location, beautiful accommodations and fun group It was especially nice having a chance to meet you and Kelly, your friends, and all the players! Live Goo was terrific. You certainly put a lot of time and energy in planning the entire event.....thanks again for everything! :)

My pleasure! I had a great time and I'm glad everybody else did too. Carol, Chris, Erik, Jackie, Joanna, Justin, Kelly, LaVonne, Russ, thanks for making this a fantastic getaway. Samir, Sarah, and everybody else in the area, it was a shame that we couldn't work out a way to get together, but I have a feeling we'll get another chance. I have a lot of photos and other content to upload over the next 24 hours or so.

Sorry I was unable to make it Scott. My little one was sick and all and had to keep an eye on him. When he is sick he is a full on mommy's boy. But next time I am definitely going. I wish I could have gotten out there even if just for a few hours. Let me know when the next one is planned. We are hoping to come out to Florida soon for a vacation! I prefer Sarasota and Jacksonville. Although I love Siesta Keys beach lol

Our photo album is online, with a big mess of shots taken throughout the weekend. Chris, Joanna, Justin, and Kelly, thank you for taking these and sharing them with me. 3 photos are private and will be published later on Funeratic, not on Facebook. If you're in the album and have a Facebook account, please tag yourself; I know some people prefer not to be tagged by others.

I have added summaries of the Tales of the Red Death game session and all three rounds of Celebrity Goo Game Live. Congrats to our champs, Erik and Kelly!

Still coming up: My written summary of the weekend.

Saw Scott's photos on Facebook. I love how Justin had not one, but TWO Steelers T-shirts!

Looks like everyone had a great time.

Justin Woods | October 20, 2011
Scott were you able to get your car fixed? I hope it wasn't a big deal.

I've published a written summary of the weekend, akin to Erik's blog post. Click on that link if you want to see three secret photos that weren't published on Facebook.

I've also updated the RB tournaments with the outcome of our little live competition. Justin, I can't believe I forgot to credit you on that page for your American Pie victory, sorry; I've done so now.

Chris: I'm glad you had a great time. Me too! Before the weekend, I had wondered if this might have to be our last GooCon, but I had so much fun that I'm going to do everything possible to put on another one next fall.

LaVonne: Thanks for saying so. It was a lot of fun to plan, and even more to play. You had a part in giving us all a good time, so thank you too. :-)

Erik: I try to list most everything alphabetically. When you spend a lot of time writing scripts that list players on a screen, you spend a lot of time thinking about fair ways to sort them, and after a while it becomes second nature to sort everything according to that reasoning.

Sarah: Totally understood. I hope the little man's doing better now.

Steve: We did! The photos are unsorted on purpose to give an overall impression of what the weekend is like, and hopefully the smiles in most of them communicate what it felt like to be there. That said, there's a series of five photos at the end of the album that shows Justin struggling to come up with a difficult answer in the goo game, which portrays one of the other feelings that guests at GooCon often have. :-)

Justin: Not yet, but will soon; just overwhelmed with more chores after the trip than I expected. The tape is holding fine.

Erik: Done, and I tagged Kelly too. If anybody else would like me to tag them in this photo album that apparently only I can interact with, please just let me know.

Yes he is doing better now Scott! We had to go on a different antibiotic because the first 2 were not working. Although you never would have thought there was a problem with him just by looking at him as he is a healthy happy active 3 year old. Hoping next time I can make it out :) I really wish I could have came because it looked like a lot of fun and from what Chris told me he had a blast.
