I was vaguely interested in this movie cause I like apocolypse type stuff, but then I saw that it was Will Smith (one of the Kings of bad movies to me) and I said no way. Add to that a sure sickening amount of CGI and I'm not touching it.

He'll never live down Wild Wild West. Ever. And he turned down Neo in The Matrix to do it, too. Poor bastard.

Kelly has read the book and told me about the movie. We'll probably see it in two weeks when she visits. What else would we see, anyway? Juno? There Will Be Blood? Atonement? Pfft.

You have a point there. This December has been such a pitiful month for movies, from where I'm sitting. And I feel like going so bad!

Heh. I would rather see any of the Oscar bait coming out soon than I Am Legend. One critic recently quoted his peers as saying 2007 is one of the best years for movies in recent memory, but that must mean there's a flood of masterpieces coming in the next three weeks, because this was a pretty weak year from my vantage point. My top ten is going to be anemic.

What really good movies have all of you seen so far this year?

Wtf do they need CGI in this movie for? That's like...CGI for...ah...Pretty in Pink. What special effects needed can be pulled off easily by makeup. Bah humbug.

I liked this movie alot! very entertaining. the ending makes me mad though
