Y'all have probably seen this by now, but I'll share it anyway:

Christians issue gay warning on SpongeBob video (link)

On this one, unlike Tinky-Winky, I can see the tiniest correlation only because the character is allegedly popular in the gay community. But it's still ridiculous. Is tolerance not supposed to be one of the core values of Christianity? Why does it "cross a moral line" to tolerate homosexual people? Oh, I get it, it's wrong to teach our children to tolerate homosexual people; we don't want our kids turning gay. Because, of course, homosexuality is a choice: You can choose to walk the path of righteousness with Jesus Christ, or you can choose to walk the path of depravity with SpongeBob SquarePants.

Since when is teaching children bigotry on the acceptable side of the moral line, and teaching them tolerance on the unacceptable side?

Since Bush was in office? Just a guess.

Why does Bush hate man-love? I mean, he seems to want everyone to think he has a man-date.

OMG, Kris... where are you getting these??? I mean -- look at the name of the thread, man! ;DDD

Well, it seems that cartoon man-love is even more despicable to people like Jerry Falwell and his bunch... geesh.

They could probably turn any kid show into having "gay tendencies".

Ne'er a truer word was ever spoken here, Jackie! I mean, c'mon! What's NOT GAY about a big purple singing dinosaur???!!! Oh, wait... Barney (D-MA) IS gay!!! (That one is for Kris...)
