Kelly and I saw it because the trailer was very funny. ("You had me at RARR!") The movie had a lot of bright spots, but it could have used a bit more kick to it, a few more jokes. It too quickly segues into the mushy stuff, then the big action finale. More jokes! More RARR! Oh well, it was still a lot of fun. If you're bored one afternoon, consider a matinee show.

I'm glad so many people liked it. I talked to someone who was convinced by the advertising that Stitch was an annoying character, similar to Dave Coulier's nails-on-chalkboard "Jackalope" character from that show "America's Funniest People" ten years ago. Stitch is nothing like that (would we like him if he was?), and the movie is delightfully funny, constantly pulling off some new gag in the background. Like Dan, I also teared up, but I get misty-eyed at almost every good movie, so I don't count. :-)
