Han Solo of course. You get better looks, better actions, and a sharp wit.

Rent Free Enterprise if you haven't seen it. Sample dialogue:

Robert has gotten into a fight with other boys in the schoolyard. He meets his hero, William Shatner, in a dream sequence.
Shatner: Why did you attack him?
Robert: Well... it was something he said.
Shatner: What'd he say?
Robert: You really don't want to know.
Shatner: I really do want to know!
Robert: He said that Han Solo was cooler than Captain Kirk.
Shatner: [Pause.] Kick the little fucker's ass.

I opt for the Captain Sisko approach: Same thing, without the "come in peace" part.

Dave Stoppenhagen | February 20, 2004
I can agree with that.

I just agree with the philosophy, I never watched either show.

Han's got that whole "rambo-unable-to-be-hit-with-gunfire" thing going on. So if it were a fire-fight, I'd send him in with a single gun and some ammo. That should take care of any situation. (er... maybe it was the terrible shot of the trained stormtroopers?)

Maybe Wolverine... depending on the situation and enemy.

Enlightened Neo would be my ultimate choice for a world saving hero however. Again, minimal effort on my end.

Ash, from the Evil Dead trilogy. Despite repeatd horrific injuries, he's essentially indestructible, saves the day, and is hilarious. And best of all, because he's simultaneously an incompetent cheese, anyone alongside him looks infinitely better and could easily steal the credit.

I think the Stormtroopers couldn't see with those stupid regulation helmets.
