Did you purchase a compact disc in a retail store between January 1, 1995 and December 22, 2000? If so, you're entitled to receive $5-20 as part of the settlement of a class action lawsuit. Here's the fizorm. (A word of advice: Actual payments might not be made until summer or even later, so be smarter than me; provide an address where you can be reached at that time.)

Did anybody sign up for this? Payments arrived later than summer indeed; my check for thirteen bucks came today. Believe me, I was relieved to find a check inside after seeing the word Litigation in the return address. (It was from "CD MAP Antitrust Litigation," but I glanced at it in dim light.)

No, I didn't. Did you have to prove you bought something, like with a receipt?

Nope, just applying was enough. I was worried I wasn't going to live at this address any more, but I'm still stuck in this rut. :-|

Sorry, Scott. I can't wait till you have a log so I can be more informed about what's going on or not going on in your life. Hang in there!
