Yeah, I remember seeing him just four years ago in Jurassic World: Dominion, where he seemed to keep up with much younger castmates. Movie magic! I'm sure that the inevitable next sequel will include some kind of tribute to him.
He'll be forever associated for the Jurassic movies for most people, of course. I'll also remember him for his welcome presence in The Hunt for Red October and The Horse Whisperer, two favorite movies of my mother, and the frightening lengths to which he took his performance in Event Horizon, which was definitely not a favorite of my mother. Maybe most of all, I'll think of his serenity as the libertine artist Norman Lindsay that grounded the very horny Sirens. He had a lot of range.
