A random guy was approached via IM from a woman at a university, looking for him to write a paper for her, for cash. Check out what he did in response:

What do you guys think of what this guy did? He's getting a lot of flack and I'm not sure what to think. It's pretty malicious, but at the same time, she's the one who did something wrong. Crazy.

I think that guy did a great thing. She's obviously a spoiled brat who can afford to pay whatever amount to have papers written for her. Granted, that is if this story is true or not. If it is true, then I really hope she gets caught and they kick her out. She'll get a real crash course on how the real world works. She might actually have to work for a living instead of having everything handed to her. The guy even says that he doesn't really care if the money shows up or not, he just wants her to get busted. Good for him....

There was even a question that if he took the money she could sue him for fraud, but given the circumstances I'm not sure that could happen...

My initial reaction was of "HA!" I wrote all my papers in college and when one sucked, I got a bad grade. It's not like they don't warn you about plagarism all the time.

I thought that was great. Though, he should have held out for more cash IMHO.

I actually wrote a paper in college for a class. I had no time to do it and tdid it the night before it was due. I wrote it... and read it... Made no coherent sense. Had my roommate read it, he agreed with me. I handed it in, and got an A. One of my friends who spent like 2 weeks on hers got a B+, she was kinda pissed at me.

He hasn't gotten paid, by the way.

I just have to say -- may this happen to every student who buys their term papers. Every damn one of them.

I work to get my grades, and I worked to get into grad school. Students who plagiarize make a mockery of that work.

Fuck 'em.

There's some doubt as to whether the story is true...but if it is, it's way cool.

And if I ran the college your mom's friend attended, I'd revoke her degree.

An absolutely disgusting display of intellectual dishonesty.
