Broccoli. It seems to be an ingredient in many Asian dishes therefore I refuse to try them. Even picking the broccoli out of dishes doesn't work for me because the flavor lingers.

Yeah, broccoli is tough to get out, with all of the little pieces of the florets that come loose. I love it myself, but I know that plenty of people don't.
I've only tried okra once, and it had a slimy quality like snotty mucous that I found immediately unappealing. I haven't given it another try but I might someday.
I was going to say celery, since I could snack on it freely without gaining weight, but apparently that's not true. I like celery chopped up and served in Chinese food and other dishes, but trying to snack on whole sticks of it at a time, I get the strands caught in my teeth, and I find myself chewing it endlessly like fat. It becomes an unpleasant experience quickly.
I'm trying to eat a lot more vegetables and fruits, and finding my limited palate to be a problem. For veggies, I love carrots and broccoli, and I can eat onions and peppers, and in a real pinch I'll eat cauliflower or squash or cucumber, but that's about it. I love corns and peas too, but those count as starchy food per my nutritionist, and lettuce and spinach are fine in a salad but not much fun to eat by themselves. I should work on stews or casseroles or other dishes where I don't taste the veggies as much. As for fruit, medical problems including heartburn limit me: I'd love to eat lots of oranges and bananas and tomatoes, but I'm stuck with apples and watermelon and cantaloupe, with occasional small portions of pears and pineapple and grapes. When you're supposed to eat several servings of fruits and veggies per day, and you only like a few of each, it gets old fast. So I guess my answer to what food I liked is "more fruits and veggies" overall. :-(

One other problem with broccoli is how badly it stinks up the house when you microwave it, as we have learned quite well lately.
