Yeah, yeah, I know his books weren't popular with everyone, but this is a sad day for those of us who have been waiting forever for the end of the Wheel of Time series.

damn that sucks...he was a nice guy too. My brother lived a few houses down the street from him when he attended College of Charleston. Selfishly I hope he left enough notes behind that someone can finish the series.

I can't believe this solemn posting about the death of an author I enjoy has taken such a turn. I should go clutter up the Pavarotti discussion! :(

Anyhow, I hope that the final book eventually sees the light of day, and if not, at least let the notes go, so that we can see where it all would have led.
