ummmm Taiko is cool....don't see much on the east coast (like almost none) one of the things I really miss about Japan. I forgot about the Black Ships Festival so maybe we'll have to check out one of those performances

I was planing on checking out the
Animal Planet Expo this weekend

and my local beach has movie nights

About the only thing I can think of in the area that I am looking forward to is MetroCon!, Florida's Largest Anime Convention!!! It's not cheap, but I go every year. I think I've talked a friend of mine from Target into going, which is awesome! Anyone in Florida around July 18-20, let's go! I'd split a hotel room with someone if they go, so that helps.

Other than that, I'm not sure... There's a lot of museums and other fun stuff in the Tampa Area. You know what? If you like baseball, the Rays are begging people to come to the games. They're pretty cheap, and it's easy to get tickets (except when it's the Yankees or Red Sox).
