Pretend you're a member of Congress. There are bills you introduce because your constituency needs them, or because you belong to a political party, or because you're assigned to a committee. Those are a part of the job. But with them, you also get to introduce bills that you believe in, that mean something to you personally, that you think will help the country. Some of these bills of personal interest are large and sweeping, some are small and symbolic. What are they? Or, in simpler terms: If you could write any laws you wanted, what would they be?
