President Trump has been impeached finally. But will he be removed from office since the Senate has the republicans I would say he staying? What is everyone else's opinion on this?

How can a man (Trump) with no conscience admit any error? How can a man (McConnell) run an impartial trial when, in effect, the jury conspires with the defendant? How can a man (Graham) take an oath to "do impartial justice according to the Constitution and laws" and then say he has no plans to be fair in the impeachment trial? This country is doomed with such leadership. The elected Republican Party officials are nothing more than unpatriotic toadies acting as heat seeking missiles aimed to kiss Donald Trump's ass. I've never seen more screaming from the Republican side of the aisle - all as an effort to distract and make people tune out and not care for truth; merely for its cessation. I can only hope for additional witnesses, unheard thus far. I suspect Bolton, Mulvaney, Giuliani and Perry have testimony that deserves to be heard that corroborate the President's immoral, unethical and potentially illegal acts. No crime is necessary for impeachment!

Trump's removal from office is a concern, but I don't think it's the only important concern. People are so focused on the outcome that they miss what I consider more important, which is the principle. Democrats have been unable to persuade Republican voters of Trump's corruption and unfitness for office, but now they have, in a sense, recorded a statement for all time. This impeachment is like a time capsule that will remind Americans in 10 years, 100 years, and more that there is an inviolable red line for corruption, lest future presidents (and voters) are tempted to let it happen again.

I doubt that Trump will be removed from office over this. It has always been very unlikely. But I'm still glad that it happened.

Chris, what do you think?

I really hate trump for what he's done. I really don't see him being removed. But it is on his record and might persuade people to vote for someone else.
