Hey John, I just bought Dead Rising yesterday, and you're invited to come over and play it sometime. It's so similar to one of your favorite movies that the cover actually includes a disclaimer, "This game is not affiliated in any way with George A. Romero or Dawn of the Dead."

Next time I'm over, we'll have to play!
I've seen the ads for the game and am interested, just don't own a console. In fact I'm getting rid of the old console games that I have. Don't have room for them as they just sit there collecting dust.

You have console games?! Like Pong for the Atari 2600? :)

YEAH!!! I mean... "what a dork!" ;-p

Naw, I got rid of my Atari when I bought my Genesis! I mean come on, I'm not the Luddite here! ;-P

I didn't get a CD player until 1995 (late '95, too, I believe). First computer well after the millenium. Same with cell phone. So you won't "hear" any (meaningful) finger-pointing from me!!!

In case nobody else was aware of what a cutting-edge university UF is (was)...
On the university site dealing with hurricane and pandemic preparedness was briefly to be found a zombie apocalypse response plan. Unfortunately, this invaluable information was also removed days later... either by a faction of zombie conspirators or non-believers, no doubt.
It's too bad, because there's obviously a threat in this area, as you'll find local bands (Righteous Kind) singing about it. They opened for themselves as The Lousy Monkees (aka The Shitty Beatles) last night at Brophy's in Gainesville. (Not the show I was in attendance of... but sounds like it was entertaining.)

Kelly bought me Last Night on Earth for Christmas and we've been playing it for days. Great game! We might just take a night off from Gothic Earth to play it some time.

I ran across the link to this site on a gaming site and was listening to the radio interview. Very funny that the radio host played it as a real story instead of a spoof. Course, it's about zombies, so I enjoyed it.
