How would you fare in a zombie apocalypse?

I'm thinking that I'll taste delicious.

I swear I was not thinking of the coronavirus when I asked this. :-) The question spontaneously occurred to me.

I've never been much into disaster prep, though Irma did make me belatedly develop the good habit of buying two weeks' worth of food and bottled water every May and keeping it for six months in case a hurricane strikes again. Outside of that, I'm totally unprepared for an apocalyptic shift in society. I was never in the Scouts, I don't know how to make fire or find food in nature, and I don't have or know how to use weapons to defend myself. On top of that, I'm very overweight and out of shape. My odds are pathetic. I guess I'd try to hunker down and hide and hope for the best, but sooner or later my luck would run out when my supplies did.

Samir, I ask merely out of curiosity, and please ignore if it's too personal: Are you unwilling to hurt a living thing even in immediate self-defense? And do zombies not qualify as non-living things?
