It's Time To Start The Season With a Pow Wow

Today was my last time to go practice on the disc golf course that I will be having a tourney on for next week. The place is called ICC (Indian Camp Creek park). It is a very nice place in Foristell, MO but the only problem with the course is you can lose alot of disc due to the prairie grass on the left and right sides of the fairway. Throwing a disc in the fairway might be difficult for some players in the recreational division including me. There is alot of OB's on the course and which one of them is the prairie grass. I have went to that course and practice, practice, practice and wasn't doing good at all in the beginning. I have played with a pro disc golfer that is around the St. Louis area and he has taught me a thing or two just by watching him and giving me tips on what disc to throw on certain holes. My dad has been my caddie by carrying my bag on his back and helping me by telling me what disc to throw. So a big thanks to him for helping out. Finally I went out and stayed in bounds and not worrying about the prairie grass on both sides of me and hit the fairway on almost all the holes and finished with a score of 54 on the course and shot even on the course today

Good luck, Chris! I was not good at the fairway either when I played for fun -- I had so-so aim, but I lacked the arm strength to toss very far. What do you do to get (stay) in particular shape for the competition?
