Seven Replies to Weekend In D.C

Sounds like a great getaway! I've been to DC too, and I used to live there, but you experience it differently at different stages in life and it's always good to look at it through older eyes.

I'm glad the city was fun for you. Although I live in a D.C. suburb now, I also lived in the city way back when. Didn't know that about you, Scott. Come back anytime. We'll leave a light on for ya. Seriously though, you had the right idea of seeing the sites at nighttime. A totally different perspective that is simply beautiful.

Well, I was six when I lived there, so I didn't really get out much. But I remember touring the White House, back when you could still do that.

Fairfax. I've been back a few times, even seen the old house, but it was a long time ago. I prefer to live in Florida, but, well, duh. :-)

I liked D.C. at night best, too. Got some nice shots of Arlington Cemetery at moonrise and Jefferson Memorial after dark while I was in training there.
