Who are you calling a pipsqueak?

So now we have moved on to watching Fullmetal Alchemist. We borrowed season 1 from the library. I quite like it. I never got tired of the main recurring joke yet :P. And Ed's a cutie. I know, you all were dyingt to hear more about my bizarro taste in, er, "men"... haha :) We will probably wind up buying season 2, since it is not at the library and is quite cheap at Walmart. Yeah for some reason Walmart seems to be a lot lower than Amazon on some of these items.
Sorry to Lori and any other fans if I've sounded overly negative about anime. I'm just an overly negative person I guess.I like all we've seen. That's why it's all I've been writing about!
Also to Lori, you did a marvelous job on the Fullmetal military uniform. I didn't even remember that that was the show, but when I saw the uniforms I remembered seeing the photos (a lot of years ago, probably!) of Ray in the costume you made. It's quite accurate.

Now I remember why I live in North Dakota
It got hot all of a sudden the last few days, or what passes for hot in ND in early April (50s). It's like a spring break video out there, people prancing around in bikinis yelling "woo"... OK not quite but there is a marked change in demeanor. Go »
The Political Thing
The political thing I hinted at in my first blog entry is over for now. The signatures have been safely delivered to Bismarck. Anyway, here it is, the North Dakota Shared Parenting Initiative, at http://ndspi.org. Go »
Sorry about that extra tall image
Sorry I screwed up the obsessions page with that tall image. But it is true, I have a new obsession. Gee... Go »
Weather - the most boring conversational topic?!?
Well, perhaps not if you live in ND, I dunno. There's snow on the ground *and* dandelions in the lawn right now. That's a first, at least in my memory. Go »
Frustrated
I just get so frustrated. I want my husband to be happy but the things he's decided will make him happy are completely out of our control (success at music). I wish something good would happen for him finally. Go »

For what it's worth, you don't come across as negative about anime. You wouldn't still watch it if you didn't like it. :-) I'm glad you're enjoying it so far.
