explanation: Gutzon Borglum began the KKK-commissioned sculpture on the face of Stone Mountain in Georgia. He left after artistic disagreements, and it was completed by a different artist. Later he was commissioned to sculpt Mount Rushmore. He created the design and oversaw the project. more…
