Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle
Evie Totty: “It ruled.”
This movie was so fun! I loved seeing these actors act like teenagers acting like characters in a game. Imagine being the nerd the jocks put in lockers or gave wedgies to finding yourself in The Rock's body. And you smoldered lol. That was one of his strengths haha.
Kevin Hart was hilarious as usual. Jack Black playing a teenaged girl was priceless.
I also heard the SJWs were making a stink about the teeny costume Karen Gillan (Doctor Who, Guardians of the Galaxy) wore. But it's textbook gaming itty bitty. They addressed it and the character tried to cover up best she could.
There was a Robin Williams reference that breaks your heart by the way.
Regardless - this movie was a bunch of fun and I thoroughly enjoyed it

Scott Hardie: Gillan's sexy/sexist outfit sounds like the classic problem with satire: It gets mistaken for the real thing. We live in a cynical era of nostalgia-driven, written-on-autopilot, quick cash-in sequels, so I guess nobody expected this one to work on multiple levels like that. It does sound like a fun movie. − December 27, 2017 more by Scott
Erik Bates: I haven't seen this yet, but I'll chime in to say I was hoping for a Robin Williams reference. I'm glad they got one in there. − December 27, 2017 more by Erik
