Matthew Preston: “It ruled.”
I have to admit the concept of this film piqued my interest when hearing about it in 2016, but sadly I didn't make the time to see it then (it's on Netflix now). For having such an overtly crude level of humor, it is surprisingly deep and full of many metaphorical layers. I caught myself as genuinely surprised by the emotional depth that a castaway and a corpse could actually bring to the screen.
Oh yeah, it also includes the best song I've ever heard about popcorn.
